Tyco Electronics TE Connectivity AMPMODU 2mm Shielded Receptacles enhance the existing portfolio of 2mm discrete receptacles and board-to-board receptacles, which are essential for reliable signal transmission. These shrouded headers are dual-row construction, available in vertical and right-angle orientations, and offer options including through-hole and surface mount terminations.

Compared to standard 2.54mm [0.100"] centerlines, AMPMODU-covered headers take up 38% less space on the PCB, which allows for extended functionality. The detent latches of these capped headers help protect against vibration in environments disengage in.

AMPMODU 2mm shielded receptacles provide an intermateable solution with major brand receptacles, and their polarization characteristics facilitate proper mating. The housing is molded from high temperature thermoplastic that is resistant to reflow soldering temperatures.
