BM833A and BM833AF are Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE 5.2 modules using Nordic nRF52811 SoC with integrated high performance PCB trace antenna.
Differences between modules:

Size of BM833A is 10.2x15x1.9 mm; BM833AF is 10.2 (15 antenna area) x 20.6x1.9mm

Range between two BM833As is estimated at 340 meters at 1Mbps; between two BM833AF is 760 meters.
BM833A Series are pin to pin compatible with BM832A nRF52810 module. Three main differences:

Supports BLE 5.1 Direction Finding.

Supports BLE 5 CODY PHY at 500 Kbps and 125 Kbps for longer range
Supports Thread and Zigbee radio protocols.
